Roots

My practice serves as a meditation through which I explore the interconnectedness of everything in the cosmos. In my artwork, this interconnectedness is often visually represented by the branching patterns that symbolise the quantum entanglement and the flow of life, thoughts, emotions and energy.

These root moulds represent the traces left by our past, our stories, and our deep emotional experiences that carve patterns within us, often beyond our awareness. These fossilised traces are the pathways through which our thoughts and emotions flow, channelling our energy along routes that existed before us and that we did not choose.

Roots explores our deep connection to each other and to the natural world that nourishes our bodies and souls and leaves an indelible mark within us.
